Instructions for moving Adobe PDF pages to Powerpoint

While this page will show you how to get an Adobe PDF page to Powerpoint, these instructions will work for moving anything you see on your screen to Powerpoint, or Word, or Excel.

Quick Instructions:
When you have a portion of a PDF page viewed on your screen, hit the Print Screen button. Then go to the Powerpoint page where you want this shown, and Paste the graphics object. You can then Crop this graphic to get rid of material on each side of the portion you want.

Step-by-step Instructions:
From any Economagic data page, choose to make a PDF Chart.

You will then get a page like this. (Click on the image to get a better view).

Change the size of the PDF page, to 100% for example -- something so that you can see what you want to reproduce in Powerpoint.

For example, it could look like this. (Click on the image to get a better view).

Hit the Print Screen key.

This copies what you see on your screen to the computer's clipboard. Go to Powerpoint and get a page ready for pasting to. (Click on the image to get a better view).

An image containing your PDF file is pasted to your Powerpoint page. (Click on the image to get a better view).

Click on the image on your Powerpoint page to mark it, and to get the Picture toolbar. (Click on the image to get a better view).

Click on the Crop icon.

Move the cursor (now shaped like the cropping tool), to one of the marking blocks on the side of your image. (Click on the image to get a better view).

Click, and drag the marking block to a new position to get rid of side material. (Click on the image to get a better view).

Do this to all four sides. (Click on the image to get a better view).

You can now pull on the corners of the resulting image to resize it, and position it where you want. (Click on the image to get a better view).
